The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) 2023 Annual Conference was held from October 30 to November 1, 2023 in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman in the Arabian Peninsula. As a member of the China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association, China Huaxing East Co. Ltd, together with other outstanding domestic enterprises, participated in many activities organized by the association and inspected the Dubai waste incineration power generation project that has been partially put into operation. The daily processing capacity of this project is about 5,500 tons. It is equipped with 5x1111.2t/d mechanical grate furnace + 3x65MW steam turbine generator set. The main steam parameters are 7.7MPa and 432℃. The power generation efficiency is about 34%. It will be constructed in two phases. EPC The main body is the consortium of HZI and BESIX. The flue gas cleaning process uses low-nitrogen combustion + flue gas circulation to control nitrogen oxides, and uses dry method + bag dust collector to control acidic pollutants and dust. After the Dubai waste incineration power generation project is fully put into operation, it will become the largest single waste incineration power generation project after the 6,000-ton second phase of Shanghai Laogang.
